Student Photo ID Card

Policies:

  1. The ID Card is not transferable;
  2. The ID Card must be worn at all times while on campus;
  3. Any misuse, alteration, or fabrication of the card will subject the holder to disciplinary action by the college;
  4. The ID Card should preferably be worn using the provided SBC lanyard, cardholders are allowed to use other personal lanyard or clips that are plain or otherwise with presentable designs that do not contain name/logo of other organizations, obscene or vulgar words and images;
  5. With a valid library membership, the ID Card also serves as a library card;
  6. The ID Card is only valid until the date stated;
  7. The expiry date for students is the last day of the month when the student is expected to complete the registered programme;
  8. The iD Card is to be surrendered at the end of the study;
  9. If the card is damaged or becomes otherwise unusable, it is the cardholder’s responsibility to replace it;
  10. A Replacement Card Fee is payable for replacing lost, damaged, defaced and expired cards, subject to prevailing GST.

Fees:

  1. ID Card Fee: Refers to the $10 fee payable for the issue of ID Card. This fee includes the lanyard and clip for wearing the ID card and is subject to prevailing GST;
  2. Replacement Card Fee: a $20 fee chargeable for replacing lost, damaged, defaced and expired cards, subject to prevailing GST;
  3. For regular full-time and part-time students the ID Card Fee has been included in the Orientation Fee;
  4. For CCTE students enrolled in a Certificate Programme the ID Card Fee has been included in the Certificate Programme Application Fee;
  5. New DMin students starting their studies from S1-11/12 semester i.e. Nov 2011 onwards will need to pay the ID Card Fee;
  6. Special students applying for special studies from S1-11/12 i.e. July 2011 onwards will need to pay the ID Card Fee;

ID Photo:

  1. Recent color photo showing the full face against a white background
  2. Size of photo should be 400 x 514 pixels and file size of around 150 Kbytes.

Installing college printer drivers on personal laptops

The following packages will install printers "SBC_BW" and "SBC_Color" on your personal computer for Black & White and Color printing respectively. Please note that Color print jobs can only be collected from the Color Printer in Library Level 2.

The printer drivers do not work on mobile tablets like iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom.  

Windows Users

please download this installation package and run it on your computer while being connected to SBC network.

Mac Users

Students who are Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard), 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or 10.7 (Lion) users please download the following packages and run them on your computer.

Popup 8.1 - Printers Setup
Notify 8.1 - Cost and balance popup window

These packages have shown to be working on 10.7 Lion but not extensively tested. 1 student was not able to see the Printing Cost Popup Window in Lion.

 

iPad Printing not supported

Please be informed that our printing system does not support AirPrint from iPad.
